Tan's inscription reads, "For _ and _ wishing you both a life as wondrous as the full moon Amy Tan 9-22-92." Below her inscription Tan has stamped her "Moon Lady" chop and her red personalized chop. Schields' inscription to the same inscriptees reads, "lucky wishes to _ & _ Gretchen Shields." Beginning toning on the board cloth bottom edges and the spine topedge; dustjacket with a price-clip, small chip on spine topedge and a short closed edge tear. A bright, tight copy in Near Fine condition in a Very Good dustjacket with an archival cover. Tan's first children's book.. Inscribed by Author & Artist. First Edition. Hardcovers. Near Fine/Very Good. Illus. by Gretchen Shields. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
