About This Item
New York: HarperCollins, 2010. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. The sixth novel in the crime-thriller series that first brought the award-winning Lehane to the reading public's attention. Boston private detectives Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro first met Amanda McCready when she was four, after they found her following her disappearance from a dysfunctional home and to which they were forced to return her to her negligent mother. Now Amanda is sixteen and has vanished again and Kenzie and Gennara search for her once more, this time in a world of identity thieves, meth dealers, a mentally unstable crime boss and a homicidal Russian gangster. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket shows a tiny, quarter-inch tear at the upper corner of the front panel, very minor surface wear. No other tears, no creasing or chipping, not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
