Five spine compartments between gilt double rules; gilt-tooled title in second compartment and volume number in fourth, with gilt floret in other compartments. Small bookplate of Ladies' Social Library, South Bridgewater, on front free endpaper verso. Contents: Angelina, or L'Amie Inconnue -- The Good French Governess -- Mademoiselle Panache: Second Part -- The Knapsack. In Good+ Condition: boards lightly rubbed; small loss of leather on spine; foxing and browning throughout, heavy on some leaves; otherwise clean and tight.
