Boston: Houghton Mifflin Co., 1930. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Poor. H. M. Brock. Hardcover/ DJ (has price $2.00); Near Fine/ Poor. Assume First Edition- only note of printing is date 1930 on title page. 110 pages, b/w illus. by H. M. Brock. DJ Poor: rubbing, soil chips (most of spine gone- rest is separated from back panel); still, it may display decently under mylar. Book, on the other hand, is in Near Fine to Fine condition. Bright orange cloth binding is tight, bright, clean & square- basically unmarred, except for v. small corner bump on back cover & maybe just a trace of edge wear. NO soil, sun, rubs or frays. All black lettering & decoration (incl. diamond vignette of girl w/ cat, on front) are totally crisp, bright & intact. Copy displays extremely well. Endpapers v. lightly toned. Text is tight, clean & UNmarked w/ little to no toning. Overall, little evidence of handling. Excellent- handsome, very well preserved copy (discounting DJ). ***Reliable, fast! (5)
