Agree's follow-up to his classic LET US NOW PRAISE FAMOUS MEN, MORNING WATCH was first published in a tiny Italian edition and is his only other novel (after DEATH IN THE FAMILY). With a lengthy and detailed (self-penned?) biography and author photo by Walker Evans on rear of jacket. 8'' x 5''. Publisher's patterned paper boards. In original unclipped ($2.25) color pictorial jacket designed by George Kelley. Yellow endpapers. 120 pages. Review slip laid in. Minor shelfwear, toning to spine. Overall, clean and sound.
