Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips.

No dust jacket. Blue fabric covered boards qith gilt print and decoration on front and spine, and a photo of one item of ancient art. Bumped corners and edgewear, especially on the bottom. The list of illustrations runs five pages. Pages are clean, tight and unmarked. The hinge is split at the front endpaper and the spine is a little weak. This book will ship at over two pounds.
