New York: Wiley and Putnam, 1846. First Edition, later state. Hardcover. Fair. 19.5 x 13 cm. 12mo. 207pp, 211pp no advertisements. Two volumes bound as one with seperate pagination and title pages, as issued. First edition, later state of the cloth edition. 1846 on title pages and copyright page of volume 1, no date on copyright page of volume 2. T. B. Smith Stereotyper on both copyright pages, no mention of R. Craighead's Power Press but copyright page of volume 2 mentions William Osborn, Printer. Wiley and Putnam's Library of American Books; New York. BAL 7598. Binding is worn and has binder's tape repairs around the edges. Interior is heavily foxed.
