George Routledge, London., [1881]. First edition, second issue, so-called "lattice" binding with the inverted G in Goose and with the Contents Page on the verso of front free endpaper. Small octavo. 48 pages. 48 full-page colour illustrations, including frontispiece and title-page, by Kate Greenaway. Olive-green endpapers. Engraved and printed by Edmund Evans. Comprises some of Greenaway's finest work. Corners slightly bruised. On the front the cloth is a bit bubbled and has an old and faint inkstain. On the back the cloth is faintly marked. Very good.
