Boston: Crocker and Brewster, 1833. Second edn. Small 8vo, pp. 173. Engraved title page. Original tan contemporary boards with green cloth spine and paste-on spine title. Light foxing throughout; corners bumped, most of spine label missing and cover and spine somewhat scuffed; corners clipped on flyleaf, o/w a VG tight copy. Anecdotal instruction for mothers in proper maternal duties. Examples of children gone astray due to poor maternal direction. Moralistic, but interesting reading. First edition also published in 1833.
