Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Plates are bright and clear. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth has minor damp, ink and dust stains. Boards are bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Moderate tanning to spine.

In overall good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - brown cloth boards faded to spine with a couple of corners slightly bumped. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation - brief gift inscription to front endpaper; toning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
