A Near Fine copy with former owner's bookplate on paste down, tiny bump to back board but very clean and sharp, in a Near Fine dust jacket with light shelf wear, faint penciled checkmark to spine, hint of foxing but unfaded and attractive. An oft-reprinted mystery described on the front flap as "A tale of hatred that had smoldered over the long years until it no longer could be controlled.
