London: Geoffrey Bles, 1954 VG+/VG. 8vo. original blue cloth (prev. owner's name to front pastedown, spine ends a trifle discoloured, endpapers lightly offset, a few marks, else clean) in dustwrapper (spine & rear panel a bit grubby, extremities rubbed, a couple of discrete closed tears, internally tape reinforced); pp. 160, with 17 illustrations & 4 maps. A very good copy. [Neate N37: Autobiography, including wartime climbing at Sonamarg in the Himalaya. Ends with his accident on Great Gable and rescue by Rusty Westmorland, leading to the foundation of the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team. Noyce was one of the best climber-writers of his generation.
