The interviews, conducted by the author (a Belgian schoolteacher), aren't presented in Q&A-transcript form, but rather as often-lengthy quotes dropped into brief career essays on each individual; each entry is padded out a bit with notes and a filmography. Includes a 2003 letter from the author to director-interviewee Vincent Sherman, from whose estate this book was acquired, laid in. .
