Published as a first edition in facsimile and with easier to read text of a book written and illustrated in manuscript form by Tolkien for his own children. No inscriptions. A bump to the upper corner at the head of the spine with an associated tear to the overlying jacket about 2cm in length, which has been repaired with archival tape to the verso. A light or slight bump to the tail of the spine. A very clean, bright very good copy in very good minus jacket, which has not been price-clipped
Synopsis
Mr. Bliss's first outing in his new motor-car, shared with several friends, bears, dogs, and a donkey, though not the Girabbit, proves to be unconventional though not inexpensive.
