Limited Issue, one of three copies specially bound and designated for the author, publisher, and binder, this one marked "Binder's Copy" and signed by Purdy on the colophon. Octavo (24cm); decorative paper-covered boards and blue cloth backstrip; publisher's original acetate dustjacket; [x],41,[3]pp, with an original ink drawing by Purdy following the dedication page. Light sunning to lower edge of front board, lower right corner of the dedication page neatly clipped by the publisher, else Near Fine, in a lightly rubbed Near Fine dustjacket. Purdy's second collection published by the press; the story and one of the poems first appeared in the pages of Harper's Bazaar and East and West Magazine. Morrow and Cooney 46b.
