About This Item

MR MEESON'S WILL published in the Illustrated London News.... the complete Summer Number of 1888, and also published before any hardcover edition. This Summer Number includes 26 awesome and large illustrations by A. Forestier and G. Montbard, whereas the first British edition only has 15 of the 26 illustrations found in the Summer Number. AND, of the 15 they did include, they are cropped (some severely) or really reduced in size. So, this Summer Number is glorious for the huge size of the engravings as illustrations. The Summer Number is about 16 inches by 12 inches. A rarity you do not want to miss out on.
