London: B. Williams. Good+ with no dust jacket. 1868. Unknown. Sheet Music. Sheet Music COVER ONLY - NO Music. Presumably a comic song for entertainment and or the early Victorian Music Hall. Text under the Image reads = " A most thrilling narrative, giving an account of the FRIGHTFUL APPARITION! ! ! . The appearance of which so affected Mrs B's nerves that she was laid up for 7 weeks after HEROIC CONDUCT of Mr. BAGGS on a most trying occasion...DESPARATE DEFENCE by Do! ! . FIRE! FIRE! ! FIRE! ! ! Prompt Arrival of the Engines & RESCUE of Mrs BAGGS! Under circumstances of Great Aggravation and Indignity. TERRIFIC ASSAULT on the POLICE & CAPTURE of MR BAGGS! ! ! Written & Composed by H. Walker. Writing to top left corner in faded ink (Addenbrooke, Dec'r 1868. No 49). Some pale brown stains (a little like old tea-cup rings) , one 'closed' tear (repaired on the reverse) to the 'M' of 'Mrs', light browning with age to the very edges and some tiny 'sewn' holes on the far left side. Original price 2/-. COVER ONLY, NO MUSIC. Date taken from the inscription but could be earlier? . Mid-Victorian Music Hall. Overall Near Very Good. Delightful comic illustration. See Image. ; 25 cm x 35 cm .
