About This Item
Toronto: McClelland & Stewart, 1973. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 6.25 x 8.25. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, with the name of a former owner on the front free end paper. The burgundy cloth covers show just a bit of light wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is also in very good condition, with light wear overall. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: Mr and Mrs Noah, true descendants of the original Noah, live peacefully on an isolated mountain-top, visited infrequently by their Bank Manager. One year, reading about increasing pollution, Mr Noah realises that there is about to be a second flood. He dusts off his ancient papyrus plans and begins to build an ark; but as launching day looms near, remarkably few animals have arrived to claim a place".
