This is a good/fair original chromolithograph from the first edition of Cassell’s Poultry Book drawn by J. W. Ludlow and printed by Vincent Brooks, Day & Sons Ltd., London. This fine original chromolithograph is an actual portrait of a prizewinning cultivated breed as mentioned at the bottom of print. Image size is approx 8” x 6.5” on sheet 10.25” x 8”. Print shows signs of foxing and water stain; picture has slight stain at the upper center. Print is still bright and ready for framing. A fair price for an original print.
