Lots of history attached to this cookbook. Typical of a loved and used book it is filled with news clippings, hand written recipes and notes throughout, there is even a postcard - all stay with the book for your enjoyment. Rebound of a sort, now neatly covered in stained cloth attached to the original red covers, with hand penned title and former owner's name on the front cover. No missing pages but there are several that are loose and now laid in. toned throughout. A bit about Belle, she was the editor of the Cooking Information page of the San Francisco Sunday Chronicle. She was also the Director of Domestic Science for the California Prune &apricot Growers Association and an Instructor at the U.S. Naval Reserves, New York City. And for many years in charge of the Domestic Science Department of the Sperry Flour Company. ; 8vo .
