Chronology, mummy fact file, glossary, suggested reading, acknowledgements, and index. The text is illustrated with 155 illustrations, of which 22 are in colour. Tan coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip and printer's colophon embossed to the front panel. Photographic dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. A book on ancient Egyptian mummies and the ancient Egyptians relationship with death. Rubbing of the book edges with age toning of the text block edges and pages. A previous owner has placed plastic over the dustwrapper to protected and held the plastic with tape, still in situ,  which has left the inevitable remains on the end pages. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and a little to the panels with a hint of sunning to the back strip. Full number line. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
