About This Item
Signed by author. In 3 generations the Murchison family made the money, then lost the money in one of the largest personal bankruptcies in history, at that time, in the 80's. Interest rates and interfamily resentments brought them down. From selling possum skins to oil wells to Vail, Colorado to the Dallas Cowboys. Their story makes the Dallas TV Show look like child's play. First Edition, so stated. The book is in near fine condition with a bump on the bottom front. The dust jacket has shelf and edge wear, but no tears and is listed Very Good +. The author has signed on the half title page (no personal inscription).
