Alfred A. Knopf, New York, 1933. Hardcover. First American Edition stated. 8vo., 294 pages + Notices. Brick red lettering and designs on gray boards. Corners show slight wear, and a bit of dirt to the covers. See photo(s). Text and interior are very good throughout, but for penciled name and remark on f.e.p. Is it not appropriate that in the Depression gripping both Europe and America in the early 1930's, with so many banks foreclosing on mortgages, that a mystery author would write about the "Murder of a Banker?" Scarce, especially in a First Edition.
