New York: Farrar, Straus and Cudahy, 1949. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Near Fine in an about Very Good jacket, unclipped ($2.50), rubbed and with some creases, tears, and chips. Yellow boards, bumped at the head and foot of the spine, red ink lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. Before writing the Pulitzer Prize-winning western Warlock, Hall wrote this crime-mystery about two men fighting against the Los Angeles mob.
