About This Item
Waterville, ME: Five Star, 2005. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Fine/Issued Without Jacket. Bartlett is perhaps better known for her "Booktown Mysteries" written under her pseudonymn, Lorna Barrett, but "Murder On The Mind" is her first published novel and the first in a paranormal mystery series featuring Jeff Resnick, a former insurance investigator whose brain injury due to a mugging has left him able to sense people's secrets. Recovering at his family's home in Buffalo, NY, Resnick's extra-normal senses pick up clues to the recent murder of a local banker, which he feels strangely compelled to explore. Signed and inscribed by Bartlett on the title page. Issued without a dustjacket, the pictorially-decorated boards are very close to perfect. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. A bookmark advertising the book and Bartlett's website is laid in. Collectable.
