Princeton, New Jersey: The Art Museum, Princeton University, 1976. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Dark grey paper covered boards with titles in black on pale grey-green cloth spine and in black on front cover. Condition: Very good, binding sound, no inscriptions. Front endpaper has a small area (approx 1/2 by 1 inch) where a label has been removed. Dustjacket condition: Good, with general light shelfwear and soiling, and light sunning to spine. 200pp. Many b/w illustrations. This book was published in conjunction with an exhibition of Murillo's drawings held at The Art Museum, Princeton University, from December 1976 to January 1977. All Murillo's known drawings - nearly one hundred - are fully catalogued and illustrated. Comparative illustrations show works by followers of Murillo as well as many of his own oil paintings. There is also a preliminary checklist of Murillos's oil sketches. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
