Indianapolis, In: Privately Printed, 1932. Book. Near Fine. Cloth. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Burgundy cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to the front. This copy is NEAR FINE.One of 2000 in this privately printed, limited edition , printed for the Foster Hall Collection of Fosteriana by the Hollenbeck Press, June, 1932. ASSOCIATION COPY with the PO signature of Phillip B. Solomon, noting it was formerly in the Collection of J.K.Lilly. Solomon was the Curator of Decorative Arts at the Indianapolis Museum of Arts in 1968. At that time Oldfields, the Lilly family home, was being readied to be opened to the public. Exterior is rich. Gilt is bright. Edges, tips, and spine ends are sharp. Very minimal , occasional rubs. Inside is otherwise unmarked, crisp, and tight. Frontispiece of Stephen Foster.
