Good. 10.75" x 7.5", 360 pp, with frontispiece and 10 other full-page photographure and lithorgraph plates, many other illustrations in the text. A good copy, with soiling to cloth, rubbing to leather panels on spine, bumped corners, some marginal dampstaining through about page 15, occasional foxing. Binding sound, text clean. Oversized; shipping charges will be more than standard for priority or international orders. Neate M181: Mummery was an expert rock climber and alpinist who made many important climbs in the Mont Blanc region. He let an expedition to Nanga Parbat in 1895, with Collie and Bruce, and disappeared whilst reconnoitering.
