Minneapolis, MN: Harry V. Johnston, 1942. Hardcover. Good/None. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Photographs. G/N, used, hc, tan cloth binding with brown text to spine and upper, 313 pages. There is a name/address stamp from the H.V. Johnston Publishing Co. on the bottom of the ffep. At the top of the ffep is an inscription by the former owner showing his name, his brand and the town he lived in. Center on the ffep is pasted an old newspaper photo with caption that reads "Bricker greets Indian Fighter" and goes on the describe the photo being an image of then Governor John W. Bricker, Republican vice presidential candidate at Dickinson, ND shaking hands with 84 year old Bill Falles. On page 70 in the margin is the name "J. W. Fallis" and underneath that 777. This is near the image of Bill Follis, boss of the "Three Sevens" and a southern neighbor of the author. Great association copy but does lack the dj. Internally clean, binding firm. Exterior shows slight shelf wear.
