Hodder and Stoughton, 1928. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1928. Uniform Edition. 276 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with title labels. Pages are fairly bright and clear with light tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's dedication to front free endpaper, with pencil inscription to paste-down. Minor dog-eared corners. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with minor bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Boards are subtly bowed.
