A dedicated group of Jesuit padres converted about 300, 000 Indians over a 50 year period. Never before translated Perez de Ribas was Padre Provincial of the Company of Jesus of New Spain (Mexico) . Written in the year 1644 and entitled " Triumphs of Our Saintly Faith Among Peoples Most Barbarous and Savage of the New Orb. " Translated in condensed form by Tomas Antonio Robertson .
