About This Item
London: Chatto & Windus, 1967. First edition. Hardcover. Very good +/Very good. 8vo, 244pp. Blue pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth boards with gilt titles on spine. Minor edge wear to dust jacket. Illustrated with photographs and with portrait frontis. Signed by Mackenzie on title page. This is the sixth volume of MacKenzie’s autobiography where he discovers the joy of broadcasting, purchases the Shiant Isles in the Outer Hebrides and is involved in setting up the new National Party of Scotland, whilst also finding time to write. First edition. I have other volumes of Mackenzie’s autobiography available, in matching bindings and generally in very good plus condition and signed.
