About This Item

New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1922. Book. Good. Cloth. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 245pp., photos. Cover shows some bumping and wear; all plates accounted for, but one is loosened from the binding. Front endpaper is missing, perhaps having been glued to inside front board, which bears a pair of glue-removal scars. A 1922 parody of the exploration literature that was appearing in large quantity at the time, and the sequel to the equally farcical, South Seas setting, The Cruise of the Kawa..
