Book interior FINE Very gently read, Covers Fine. Covers are white, lettering is black, pictorial front. Covers and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, one small mild crease at top edge of back cover 1 inch long, no spine creases, tiny bits of black colour missing on spine side edges, tiny scuff 1/2 inch long on front spine edge, slight age darkening of white portions of covers, but look and feel of cover is as new. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, bright, crisp. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on edges of some pages. A few pages dog eared about 1/2 inch, restored flat. Owner’s name, date, small, in ink on ffep. No illustrations. No photos.
Synopsis
Written in 1916, during World War I, The Mysterious Affair at Styles is Agatha Christie’s first published novel. The story introduces the author’s world-famous Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, as well as Lieutenant (later Captain) Hastings and Inspector (later Chief Inspector) Japp. The mystery begins with Poirot settling in England near the home of Emily Inglethorp. When Emily is killed, Poirot must apply his detective skills to solve the mystery based on a few seemingly random clues. The book includes maps of the house, the murder scene, and a drawing of a fragment of a will.

I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
