Pencil name on front free endpaper, pages toned. 1934 Hard Cover. 256 pp. Having helped an old prospector locate a buried treasure, Robert Taylor spends the winter on a ranch, awaiting word from him. His friend, Arthur Mills, joins him and when spring comes the boys set out to find the old man. After many adventures in the mountains and being warned off by a gang of ruffians who try to assassinated them, the lads follow a mysterious trail and locate the prospector, who leads them to the place where still more of the treasure is concealed.
