About This Item
Red cloth binding with gilt title on the spine.
Review: I grew up with this book when I was a child in the 40s-50s. Now at 68 I have finally secured my own copy. The years fall away, these wonderful tales live again. It's a masterly collection, maybe the best of its kind ever done and that was in 1934/5. The Supernatural section is breath-taking; this was where In first entered "The Judge's House" and where I first learned what "O Whistle and I'll Come to You, My Lad" means, God help us all!
