Grosset & Dunlap, 1959. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. Tan tweed covers, light brown endpapers, and a pictorial dustjacket spine. A Very Good copy in a Fair dustjacket. Book has a touch of shelfwear, bumped corners, and a former owner's name on the inside front cover; DJ has shelfwear, edgewear, a large mar on the bottom of the front cover, the back cover is separated from the spine but mostly present, and the bottom of the spine is missing. Interior is otherwise clean, unmarked, and tight. 8vo. - over 7¾' in - 9¾' in.

- The outer portion of a book which covers the actual binding. The spine usually faces outward when a book is placed on a shelf....

- Used to mean that the binding of a book has not been overly loosened by frequent use.
- Shelfwear
- Minor wear resulting from a book being place on, and taken from a bookshelf, especially along the bottom edge.
