Inscribed by the French author Roger Caillois (1913-1978) to Iván Boldizsár (1912-1988) the Hungarian poet and writer.


Boldizsár was the president of the Hungarian PEN Club from 1970 and President of the International PEN Club in 1984, he was one of the first people from the former Soviet bloc who received Honorary Degree in the United States.
