Reprint (of 1907 first edition). 394pp, with colour plate frontispiece and 41 further monochrome plate illustrations. In green cloth boards , with gilt titles and decorations front and spine. Deckled edges. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, very gently sunned on spine. Previous owner's name inked on front free endpaper. Hint of creaminess to first and last couple of pages, some faint and very occasional foxing. An account of the origin and development of the mythology of Ancient Greece, with an analysis of their significance. With maps, glossary, indexes etc.
