Octavo, 196pp. Yellow paperback, $3.25 retail price on rear cover. Solid text block, light wear to joints, shelf wear, a near fine example. Signed by the author on the title page. Includes laid-in card from publisher stating only one printing occurred, with paperback and cloth editions released at the same time. An incredibly scarce example. Bobbie Ann Mason (b. 1940) is a novelist, literary critic, and Pulitzer Prize finalist. Her first novel, In Country, was adapted into a film starring Bruce Willis and Emily Lloyd in 1989. Nabokov's Garden predates all her other works, and is the published version of her doctoral dissertation in literature, awarded from the University of Connecticut.
