Napa: H.A. Darms, 1908. First edition, Oblong quarto (14 x 10 3/4 inches). 126 pp. Publisher's 3/4 red roan over vertically-ribbed cloth with gilt cover lettering. Some short tape repairs to front blank, lower corner of preface absent (no text missing). A very handsome and clean copy.This book is entirely composed of photographic illustrations of variously tinted Napa County scenes. The foremost being an Ed Ruscha-like photographic chronicle of every building on Main Street. In all, well over 100 photographic illustrations in the book and they are all well indexed at the rear.
