About This Item
3 volumes. Volumes 1 and 2 are from the Wolseley Series, printed by Gilbert & Rivington in London (no date). The atlas was published by the U. S. Army Dept. of Art and Engineering at West Point, in 1942, to accompany the first 2 volumes. I acquired these volumes from Major General Harold Parfitt just before he died. I told him I would take care of his stuff and tell whoever I passed it on to where I got it. The book doesn't have his name in it. He was in the Army Corps of Engineers and was the last Governor of Panama. The books are in very good condition; some shelf wear, corner bumping and sunning on the spine, but the pages are clean and unmarked and the binding is solid.
