Bound in original brown cloth blocked in blind and gilt,Binding and spine show sl. bumping to tips, light rubbing to extremities, and light scuffing to cloth. Binding tight. Several pages slightly chipped at edges. Overall , in good plus, to very good, condition. First published in 1898 by the Society, and now a very scarce title, having recently been reprinted in facsimile by the AMS Press, but very difficult to find in the original edition. Publication no. LIX (new series) of The Camden Society. Index at back. Elegant bookplate on front pastedown.
