London: John Murray, 1865. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo, pp. xiv, 608, folding map to rear with a few foxing marks but generally clean and bright, 32 pages of advertising, original blind ruled, gilt decorated and lettered burgundy cloth, the spine a little faded, cover bright, slightly rubbed, corners mildly bumped, top of spine very gently pulled, interior with dark green end papers, rear free end paper with a folded corner, some minor foxing to fold-out frontispiece, small circular blind stamp crest on title page, thereafter the text is clean, crisp and bright and the binding tight. A fine copy, rarely found in original cloth in this condition.
