The edition of this handsome box set was limited to 1,950 copies. This is a beautifully preserved set without dust jackets, as issued. The box is lightly soiled, and the corners are a bit worn and frayed; else fine. Contents fine. The book centers on the Scots Brigade in Dutch service fighting against fugitive slaves (the Maroons) raiding from French Guyana; includes material on the natives, flora and fauna in Guyana.
