Synopsis
MARK MILLER graduated from Stanford University, entered journalism as a newspaper copy boy, and subsequently reported for Reuters and CS Radio, where he also produced documentaries. Miller has contributed to National Geographic books and publications since 1977, his assignments ranging across North America from Alaska to Florida's Dry Tortugas, as well as to the Caribbean and Europe. He is a partner in 12 Films, a documentary film production company. The author lives in Los Angeles, CA.
