New York: The Macmillan Company, 1919. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 603, [2] pages, indexed. Hardcover bound in blue cloth. The binding shows wear and rubbing and is a bit dust-stained. Front cover has a diagonal crease. Top edge dust-stained. Foxing to the endpapers. Front flyleaf cut out, but there are two other blank flyleaves at the front. Signed by early owner (Algie Newlin, who was later a professor of History at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC) on the front flyleaf. A sound copy. Text is toned but appears unmarked.

We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
