About This Item

Stated first edition. Author's signature on first title page by magic marker with the inscription "Merry Christmas". (Note: while the signature seems legitimate, we are unable to authenticate it). Clipped dj has a small tear at top near spine and at top front edge. Book is in new condition except for some small bumping at top of spine and top front cover edge.

This is fascinating, very readable book by a highly respected sports writer.
