Presumed first edition (no statement). 279 pp. Fine in bright, crisp dust jacket with touch of spine fade and a very small chip top of rear gutter. The author's second book and first novel, the tale of a Irish maverick's day and night in (then) modern Dublin. Simon Green comes in from the country to sell eels and try to the find the man who raped the girl he intends to marry only to discover that one of his friends may be guilty.
