Thick octavo, xvi, 618pp. Red cloth, title in gilt on spine, illustration of a young man in gilt on front cover. Light sunning to cloth on spine. Complete with 22 full page color illustrations and a large fold-out map. Intermittent foxing, primarily to fore edge of text block. Presentation inscription on front free endpaper to the Reverend T.E. Ruth of Liverpool, for services rendered at the Sunday School Convention of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, dated 1909.
